Aid for Randall and Debbie Poole: Medical Struggles

Hello, I’m Greg Poole. I am trying to help my parents out the only way I know how to.

Back in November, Dad fell out of bed while in an emergency room and hit his head, which resulted in a massive brain bleed causing him to have emergency surgery and a lengthy stay in the hospital. He was then transferred to a rehab facility. He was finally able to come home and was only home a couple of months when Mom fell, breaking her leg. She had to have surgery and is now in a rehab facility.

As most know, they live on a very tight budget. All the extra copays at the specialists, extra meds they have to pay for, and now Dad using extra gas going to Etown to visit Mom have all combined to put a hard strain on their finances. I just ask if anyone could please help at all; it would be greatly appreciated. Dad served his community for many years as an active volunteer firefighter and first responder at McDaniels fire-rescue and still today serves on the board of directors and Mom worked many years in the school system helping and mentoring many students throughout her career in Breckinridge county. They both have a heart made of gold and they are mamaw and papaw to most people of the younger generations that’s ever known them. Dad and Mom would give the shirts off their backs for anyone, and they would never ask for anything in return. I’ve personally seen them give when they didn’t really have it to give but they felt someone else needed it worse than them, they’ve always put others before themselves. Any little bit would help; it all adds up, and I know they will greatly appreciate it as well.
