Help Gene & Linda Bandy with Hospital Bills & Loss of Income

My name is Alicia Bandy and I’m writing on behalf of my parents, Gene and Linda Bandy, as well as my siblings (Shannon, Crissy, and Michael) to ask for your prayerful and generous support to help my parents as they walk through a difficult season.

My parents are two people who have dedicated their entire lives to ministry to God and to serving others. They have always sought God’s calling on their lives and have walked faithfully. As my parents, they have been the most generous, loving, and grace-giving people. They have always lived their lives for others – they have been very selfless. They give of their time, life, and money.

They are very loyal and faithful people.

Dad served at Central Baptist in Arlington, TX for over 20 years, and Mom has worked at Bowen Road Day School for over 20 years. They have done those things because they buy into the mission and purpose of both of those places. They are faithful to God’s call. Mom doesn’t just work at the daycare. She has given her life to be there for those kids – to love them, to serve them, and to be the best colleague she could be.

As they have gotten older, health issues have started to arise, and these things have started to pile up, making it difficult for my parents to be able to keep up with hospital bills especially. Now, my mom has not been able to work due to her health and recent hospitalizations.

The ironic thing about my dad is that he has been a giver his whole life, and he would never ask for anything. So, I’m asking on his behalf, if you all would be willing to give anything at all to the two people who have shaped me and my siblings and their grandchildren, and so many others, into the people we are today.

The amount they need to cover the cost of hospital bills while my mom has fought heart conditions and recurring lung problems, as well as the loss of income since my mom has not been able to work seems insurmountable, but I know we serve a God who can provide more than we ask, think, or imagine. So I’m trying to ask, think, and imagine.
