Our beloved long-time Chalfonte employee Gabby, who has worked as a porter at the Chalfonte since 2008 keeping our grounds looking beautiful, is battling a very serious health issue that has prevented him from working. After an extended hospital stay, he is now receiving treatment at home. This situation has necessitated that his wife, Edeline, leave her job to serve as his primary caregiver. In addition to the loss of her income while managing medical expenses, the co-pays for his necessary treatment have created a significant financial strain on them.
