My dad, his wife and my step brother lost their home due to Hurricane Helene. Their house got flooded up to the ceiling at 3am on 9/27/24. I received a call telling me that they were swimming to get out of the house with their dogs and cats to get to the army trucks in the neighborhood because the street was wrecked. My dad lost everything. My heart is torn and I’m asking to see if any donations at all can be made to help my family recover in some sort. Donations will go towards essentials as in food, clothing, shoes, a car, a hotel, honestly anything they would need.
