Hello everyone. On Sunday, 7-20-2025, a horrible act of cruelty was committed when someone dumped a family of dogs in the sweltering heat in a SW Houston neighborhood. It was heartbreaking to see this family starving and begging for water. The 4 puppies were emaciated with spines and ribs protruding along with giant wormy bellies. One of the puppies was very lethargic and sickly. She was struggling in the horrible heat and had pale gums. We just couldn’t leave this sweet family to perish on the streets and rushed the whole family to Westbury Animal Hospital. The sick puppy was immediately tested for parvo and parasites. Thankfully, she tested negative for parvo and was just very dehydrated. The whole family was vetted, dewormed with Panacur, and given flea and heartworm preventative. This sweet family is in boarding at Westbury Animal Hospital while we search for fosters and adopters. Donations are needed for the vet bill, boarding, food, follow-up booster shots, and puppy supplies. Please help us help this family of 6 on their journey to recovery and their forever families.
