ECSE FAMILY SUNSHINE FUND

We are a team of early childhood community members, and educators, who provide services to families with very young children (ages birth to five years) with disabilities.  

We are seeking funds to support 100+ families, we work with, whose income and access to resources have been negatively impacted by the federal presence in our city.

Funds raised will be used to address immediate family needs such as rent, food, household supplies, baby formula, diapers, utility costs, and other urgent bills.

So many of our families are, or were, sheltering in place out of the very real fear that spread throughout our city. Parents are desperately trying to keep their children safe, while also meeting not only their basic needs but the needs of their disabilities. Please help us, to help them, keep home their safe space, and lift some of their weight. A little spreading of sunshine can go a long way.

Funds raised by our group, with this Go Fund Me, will be distributed, by Robin a community member and social worker in the ECSE program, to families referred by our team of social workers, via cash, check, or cashier's check, so they can pay bills and/or rent. Funds will also be used to purchase items for our pantry, by reimbursing those who are shopping.

We know that families will feel the impact of this crisis for many months to come. If our immediate need is met, we will use all additional funds to support future resource needs of our families.
