My name is Madysen, I never in a million years thought this is what we would be doing. This morning we woke up to our 5 month old baby, Ember Soul, she had passed away in the middle of the night. The autopsy has been performed, but we are awaiting test results. Ember was the brightest, happiest and healthiest baby I have ever known. She was our little love bug. I hate asking for help but we are in desperate need. Ember left behind 2 loving parents, a crazy but lovable 2 year old sister, and many other grieving family members. We appreciate any help we can get, and even if you don’t have the money, prayers are much needed for our family. All donations will go towards the cost of cremation, celebration of life, and all household items/expenses. Life is not free and I can’t have Javion go back to work for a while. Thank you so much.

EDIT TO ADD: The autopsy results were recently shared, and basically were inconclusive. When the autopsy was first performed, they told us it was caused by pulmonary edema. That basically means her breathing slowed and came to a stop, and there are many of different causes for this; however they are unable to tell us which one cause it actually was. The official cause of death (put on death certificate) was determined to be, “sudden unexplained death of an infant (SUDI)”. There were intrinsic and extrinsic factors (internal and external). They found swelling/inflammation in her heart and lungs, which would be internal factors. The external factors would be we co-slept. A lot of people may disagree with this, but I co-slept with our 2.5yr old almost her entire life and obviously nothing tragic came to be of that. I also do not believe cosleeping is what took Embers life, and neither does the coroner. Thank you for reading this far, and any prayers and donations are still more than welcome at this time. I still don’t have the courage to let Javion go back to work as I have been dealing with depression and PTSD from this tragic event.
