Aid for Elizabeth's Parents
Donation protected
Here is Elizabeth's story:
It all started when one of my closest friends stole $3,500 from me. I later found out it went to drugs.
A week later, I got a call at 2am from my parents. They were crying as they had barely escaped a fire that completely burned down the house I bought for them. They lost everything except the pajamas they were wearing. No clothes, no shoes, nothing.
They are now in temporary housing.
Sadly, since I’m the owner of the house, insurance won’t cover their things. And on top of that, I found out I’m $100,000 underinsured due to all the tariffs and increase of cost of labor.
Five days after the fire, my rescued dog Patches—my only family here in Hawaii—had a tumor burst in her spleen. I had to decide between putting her down or trying a $19,000 surgery.
I chose surgery. The enemy may have taken my parents’ home, their belongings, and the money stolen from me—but the enemy won’t take my faith.
The vet says Patches has a 25% chance, and I will fight for that 25%. I’m not afraid of working hard—I’ll do Uber, clean houses, work 18-hour days again if I have to. I’m a fighter.
Even if we only get 1–3 more months together, I’ll know I tried everything. I trust God to decide the rest.
Right now, I ask for your prayers for Patches. Please pray that her tumor is benign and she makes it through.
If you feel moved to donate, know it will go straight to helping my parents' medical bills as my dad lost vision in one eye, they got some burns, get clothes, shoes, jackets, and temporary housing expenses. But please, don’t feel any pressure—your prayers, a share, or words of encouragement mean so much already to me.
From the ashes, we will rise stronger. Thank you for being part of our journey.
