Aid for Domestic Violence Victim

This Domestic Violence victim is well known to us here at the Daily Counter.  Ashley Kidwell is a 34-year-old woman who is an amazing mother of 2 young children.  She has been victimized for over 8 years and has finally found the strength to fight.  She was forced to leave her home without her children in fear of her life.  Upon seeking help from Sistercare who filed for an Emergency Protective Order and getting a hearing, she was threatened with having her children removed and placed in foster care by if she did not state she agreed to an arrangement by DSS and by Counsel for the abuser.  Even her own Legal Aid attorney did not protect her rights.  
She has no money no way to fight.  We are raising this money for her to be able to fight and hire an attorney who will protect her and her children in Court.  She should not be re-victimized by the system simply because she has no money or attorney.
