I'm a type 1 diabetic. I did make a GoFundMe a few months ago for close to the same purpose. I did end up with about a week of insurance before getting fired for absences due to being in the hospital for a week with DKA. No donations last time, so we're even deeper in the hole with mortgage and pump supplies. Anything helps honestly at this point, even if it's just to buy food for our dogs and cats.
