Benefit for Deputy Buddy Allman.
10-24 is the radio code for "Officer Needs Assistance".
On October 18, 2024, Pasco County Sheriff's Deputy Buddy Allman was in a tragic accident while he was on duty surveying flood waters that the previous hurricanes had caused. When the road that the Humvee was sitting on collapsed underneath them. It immediately started submerging and flipped over. A Dade City officer was riding alongside Buddy and was able to get out. He realized that Buddy was not answering when he called out for him. The officer went back down in a heroic effort to find him. Buddy was trapped inside the Humvee. After some time, he was able to pull Buddy up with the help of two bystanders. CPR was started and he was taken to Advent Dade City Hospital then flown to Lakeland Regional Hospital due to his trauma.
After three weeks in ICU Buddy woke up on November 6th. He was released on November 27th and has a long road to recovery.
This benefit is to assist Buddy and his family during these hard times. Disability Insurance only covers 66% of your salary and Belinda gave up her job to take care of Buddy.
Nothing like supporting a local Hero who has devoted years to protecting and serving Pasco County.
Let’s step up as a community to help an incredible community member and his family! We appreciate anything you’re willing to donate!
