On Sunday evening March 29,2026 Denny suffered a heart attack. On April 1st he underwent open heart surgery. By God’s grace, he is recovering! However, the road ahead will take some time. He will need to be focused on healing up fully. We praise God for the requests that have already been answered and we continue to trust in Him for full and complete healing. Many have asked how they can help in practical/pragmatic ways. Due to the strong need for Denny to be completely focus on his recovery from this invasive surgery, the Shay family will be navigating the financial challenges of supplementing resources that would normally come from his regular income over the next weeks and months. With that stated… we thought it would be helpful to set up this GoFundMe account for Denny, Jen and the boys, in hopes to alleviate some of the strain of these forthcoming financial needs. The entire Shay family is so grateful for such an amazing network desiring and willing to help our Husband, Dad, Brother and Uncle in this way.
