Aid for David's Heart Transplant Recovery
Donation protected
I will get right to the point. Many of you know that my son David, at age 19, battled and defeated Stage IV Brain cancer 20 years ago. Following treatment, he went on to graduate with honors from college. However, the chemo and radiation took a toll on his heart.
David was diagnosed with heart failure 7 years ago, and he knew it was a matter of time before his heart failed. That happened about 3 weeks ago. David was admitted to Cedars Sinai Medical Center in LA, and received a heart transplant on 6/10/25. David is recovering well, and should be discharged home early next week. Linda and I are so grateful that our son will be back in his home very soon.
Thankfully David has insurance, but there are deductibles and out of pocket expenses of more than $8,000, as well as typical monthly expenses.
Please donate what you can to help my son and his wife Desiree so they can focus on his recovery. And if you would please forward this link to others you believe would like to help, please do.
I never imagined needing to ask for your help in this way, but I know you will help where you can.
