Dave Lord has lived a life full of grit, love, and quiet strength. Born in Pennsylvania, he’s traveled and lived across the country, serving in the Air Force and later dedicating over 20 years of his life to working as a goldsmith—a craft that reflects his steady hands and golden heart.

As a single parent, Dave worked tirelessly to raise his child, Mae. Despite financial struggles, he made sure they had a safe, loving home and supported their dream of going to college, never letting the lack of a safety net stop him from being the foundation they needed.

For several years, Dave has been courageously battling a devastating form of cancer. Last fall, he was laid off from his job, and the combination of medical bills and living expenses has completely drained their limited savings. The financial burden has only grown heavier as his treatment continues.

Dave is still fighting—with determination, grit, and the hope of more time with the people he loves. But he can’t do it alone. Your support will help cover the mounting costs of ongoing treatment, transportation, and essential care, giving him a real chance to keep going strong.
