Aid for Danny's Leg Amputation and Recovery

My uncle Danny has recently had a rough fall that has caused him to break both his Tibia and Fibula bones in his leg. When they broke, the bones protruded out of his leg. The leg was unable to heal due to current health conditions he has (diabetes, heart disease).

This accident occurred around Thanksgiving and he has been in and out of two hospitals and a nursing home trying to heal his injury, with no luck. Last week the doctors came to a conclusion that his leg would need to be amputated to prevent any infection or life threatening surgeries.

Over this time period, he has accumulated a rather substantial bill from the multiple doctor visits, hospital and nursing stays. He also now has to adjust to a wheelchair which will cause need for a ramp to be built, and future prosthetic. He will have a long road of therapy and rehabilitation after this major life adjustment.
