My name is Joyce Aliaga, I am the sister-in-law of Dana Aliaga.

We are reaching out to our friends, family, and compassionate community to ask for help during an incredibly challenging time. Our beloved Dana, who is in her 40s, has suddenly and unexpectedly been struck by a dual hemorrhagic stroke. She is currently on a ventilator, fighting for her life, and in need of all the support she can get.

This tragedy has come out of nowhere, and it has shaken our family to its core. Dana’s husband, Raul, is by her side, supporting her through every step of this devastating journey. However, with Dana’s medical needs and recovery requiring around-the-clock attention, Raul has had to take time off from work to be with her. Unfortunately, his paid leave only lasts for one week, and the financial strain on the family is already becoming overwhelming.

Dana’s condition requires extensive medical care, and as she continues to fight for her life, her family is also facing a significant financial burden. Our goal is to raise $15,000, which will go toward covering Dana’s bills, as well as ongoing home expenses and living costs during this difficult period.

This family has already been through so much. In 2016, they suffered an unimaginable loss that left them heartbroken and still in the process of healing. Now, just as they were beginning to find some semblance of peace, they are faced with yet another painful and life-altering crisis.

Dana has always been the kind of person who lights up a room with her kindness, her laughter, and her love for everyone around her. She’s a mother, sister, wife, and friend who means the world to so many people. It’s hard to put into words the devastation we feel as we watch her fight for her life—but we know we can get through this together with your support.
