He went in for major back surgery, which actually went very well. Then he ended up with all sorts of complications, including renal failure, seizures, pulmonary embolism and bilateral strokes. We are in for a long recovery, I can't leave him alone anytime soon, which makes it hard to work.

He served our country as a marine, before medically retiring, then he served as a police officer for 10 years. He really is the best husband and parent to me and the 8 kids we have between us. He just barely turned 40, and shouldn't have to be dealing with all these problems, but here we are...
