Please Help Dan & Nina Crooks

Early morning at 12:20am on July 3rd, my father took his last breath.

I could sit here all day and share all of the amazing pictures and words to celebrate the man that he was; but anyone who knew him knew he loved his family, he loved his friends, and he loved his Nina. My father was not afraid to show his love, and it is something that I will strive to do more in my life for him.

It comes without saying that this has been the hardest 3 weeks of my life, and my family again appreciates all of the love and support everyone has given to us during this time. It only shows the amount of love that my father had for everyone, and I know he is going to be deeply missed by so many

Late in the evening on June 12th, my parents (Dan and Nina Crooks) were involved in a head-on collision. Most of the damage was to the left side of the vehicle, where my father was the driver. My father was airlifted to the hospital due to his injuries sustained (a fractured skull and a broken leg), while my mother was driven by ambulance to another nearby hospital to be evaluated. My mother was cleared to go home early morning on June 13th.

However, my father has been in the ICU since being moved there in the early hours of June 13th also. Due to the nature of his injuries, we are in the process of transitioning him to hospice care.

For those of you that know me and my family, we do not like to ask for help - unless it’s truly needed. And at this time, we greatly appreciate any help we can get. Between the medical bills for both my mother and father, to having to help pay for general bills (rent, utilities, food, etc.) - we as a family have been doing the best that we can, but my mother is going to need help. We humbly ask for any monetary donation, even just $1 will help us right now. We know that money is hard to come by right now and we truly appreciate anyone who is able to help, from the bottom of our hearts.

We know how loved my father is and we so appreciate all of the prayers and well wishes everyone has been sending to him and to us during this extremely difficult time. Thank you ❤️
