Update:
They’ve switched Stephanie from chemotherapy to a pill form treatment (Larotrectinib capsules), she will still be receiving radiation on her hip for the bone cancer. She has two different gene mutations which is causing the cancer to grow at a more rapid pace.
A Faulty Check2 mutation that occurs when one of the two genes isn’t working making it higher risk of developing colon or prostate cancer. TPM3-NTRK1 mutation which a gene fusion that occurs when the TPM3 gene on chromosome 1q21.2 breaks and inverts, fusing with the NTRK1 gene on chromosome 1q21–22.

UPDATE: Stephanie has stage 4 Lung cancer and Bone Cancer.

I have decided to make a GoFundMe during this tragic time for my friend, Stephanie Blenker and her family. I am asking for help and donations that can be put towards helping Stephanie with her medical bills and daily expenses for herself and her family during this unpredictable time. Stephanie’s journey started back in June 2022. She was working 3 jobs at the time and lost one of them due to continuous headaches. A few short months after that she lost another job due to the headaches and other medical reasons. Shortly after Stephanie was diagnosed with Mangaloma , brain tumor in January 2023. Stephanie and her family lost their home recently after finding out about the brain tumor. By the end of May 2023 she started receiving radiation treatments for her brain tumor. Over the summer of 2023 Stephanie was hit even harder with more medical problems. She was put on heart monitors and had numerous heart scans because she kept passing out and was finally diagnosed with, Laughing Syncope (rare).. since June she’s been in and out of the hospital with wheezing and coughing. Stephanie went through multiple doctors for months until recently ithis October 2024 they found out she has a tumor on her lung. She was sent to Wausau pulmonary to have a biopsy of her lung and that came back positive for Adenocarcinoma, lung cancer. Stephanie also had a brain MRI and found out she has Empty Sella syndrome. Stephanie is currently waiting results from a PET scan of her thighs and chest to see if the cancer has spread. All of Stephanie’s children and family are asking that you keep her in your prayers during this unforessable time. Anything that can be donated will be greatly appreciated by Stephanie and her family. Thank you so much and I will keep you updated through her journey.
