AID For Country's Vehicle and Medical expenses

Hello, I'm Michael Ridenhour, AKA Country. I'm healing and replacing "Brownie." First and foremost, I'm very lucky to still be alive!!

3 days ago, I was driving back home from work on May 23rd, 2025, at 2:39 pm. I had stopped to drop off mail to my wife, Terra. As I was within 5 minutes from completing my drive home, I was hit head-on, destroying our Ford Pickup. I enjoyed driving this vehicle.

The recipient on the other side was on their phone, going at least 10 mph over the speed limit on a two-lane road. As the vehicle proceeded towards me, it continuously stayed in the middle of the 2 lanes. The next thing I remember was airbags flying in my face. The witnesses on the scene rapidly approached me, checking to see if I was still living and okay. They offered me water immediately.

I was not even conscious enough to call the police. A good friend of mine I golf with was coming to rescue me and called the Osceola officials. I then realized what happened 15-20 minutes after the collision. I then proceeded to find out if the driver on the other end was okay. There was no one to be found. We asked witnesses on the scene if they saw the guy. All the witnesses could inform us of was that the guy went running down the road in the opposite direction of the scene.

The officials had helicopters and dogs searching for hours, but he was nowhere to be found. As I was bleeding profusely, I was rushed to the ER by the paramedic staff. I gained consciousness more and more.

I was dealing with severe pain from my head to my upper back, along with pain in my legs and knees, bleeding from my knees.

After I was released from the ER, I acknowledged I wouldn't be returning back to work until I was able to follow up with my PCP. This will take a little longer due to the holiday weekend. So at this time, I am looking to raise $2500 or more for the medical expenses along with, as you can see, a new vehicle!! Being in a no-fault state, which Florida is, along with not knowing if the hit-and-run person had auto insurance, my insurance is going to have to pay the total damages and expenses.

I want to say I really appreciate all of your help and support towards this unfortunate matter. I've never experienced this situation and would never wish it on ANYONE!! Please help me with what you can & you will be rewarded back another day!! AMEN
