Aid for Charlie's Recovery and Family Needs
Donation protected
Dear friends, family, and kind-hearted strangers,
We are reaching out with heavy hearts to ask for your support during an incredibly challenging time for our dear friend Britni, her husband Charlie, and their three beautiful children—Vivien (9), Dominic (5), and Gwenivier (2).
Charlie is a proud Navy veteran who injured his shoulder while serving our country. Despite his injury, he worked tirelessly to provide for his family. Unfortunately, in early 2023, his shoulder injury worsened, leading to a complete tear that required surgery. He underwent this surgery in February of last year, and though he diligently attended physical therapy and followed every step of his recovery plan, the procedure did not succeed as hoped. Charlie continues to endure unbearable pain.
Now, Charlie faces the difficult reality of needing a second surgery in April. In the meantime, he has been placed on a strict 5-pound weight restriction, which has resulted in him being laid off from his job as his workplace couldn't accommodate his limitations.
Britni and Charlie have done everything they can to stay afloat. They’ve exhausted unemployment and disability benefits, stretched Britni’s income as far as possible, and even relied on the generosity of friends and family to keep their household running. Despite their unwavering determination, they are struggling to make ends meet.
With mounting medical expenses, day-to-day bills, and the weight of providing for three young children, this situation has become overwhelming. Britni and Charlie are some of the most hardworking and deserving people we know, and it’s incredibly difficult for them to ask for help—but right now, they need a village.
Every contribution, no matter how big or small, can make a profound difference in their lives. Your generosity will help cover medical bills, basic necessities, and provide a bit of breathing room for this family to focus on Charlie’s recovery and their children’s well-being.
