IVDD has taken over my sweet baby girl

Chanel had to get emergency surgery after waking up paralyzed from the waist down and in extreme pain. IVDD is a horrible disk disease Frenchies are unfortunately more prone to due to their body shapes. As much as I know Chanel was in pain, I was not ready to euthanize her. As many of you know, Chanel is my registered Emotional Support Animal that also helps aid with my psychiatric needs, which is the major reason why I followed through with the surgery even though it would cost me an arm and a leg. Chanel has saved my life multiple times, and I would never hesitate to save hers in return. Chanel has pet insurance; however, due to it being considered a hereditary and pre-existing condition, our insurance did not want to cover a single cent.
