Hello, My name is Ceiran Ho, I’m 23 and i’m the grandchild of Joan Ho. My grandma has raised me all my life, she is my guardian and I am now her caregiver. A year ago she was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and as of recently the past month she’s been in the hospital rapidly declining. Currently, she is on hospice care no longer receiving any treatment. Right now i’m unemployed due to taking care of my grandma full-time but I’m actively looking for a job and going to career centers. I live off my grandma’s pension and social security benefits but that will end soon when she is no longer with us. I’m struggling to get by with affording groceries, getting pet food for our dog and two cats and keeping up with the house. My mom had unfortunately passed due to an overdose years ago and my birth father is not present. I’ve been incredibly anxious and stressed out and soon I need to find a place to live because I can’t afford the bills to keep the house my grandma and I currently live in. I don’t know where to begin with this entire process but i’m willing to take any help that is offered to me, whether it’s donation, guidance, recommendations. Anything with suffice. Thank you.
