A 6.9 magnitude earthquake has hit northern parts of Cebu, claiming lives and extensive damage to homes. As residents continue to experience aftershocks, many are sleeping on the streets with limited and sometimes no food and shelter as aid has yet to reach towns where roads are damaged and are impassable.

I am raising money for my mother’s hometown, Daanbantayan, in which aid

has not yet been reached.

Funds will be transferred to my family member residing in the town, who will distribute essential goods and food to those directly affected. Some money will also go towards helping repair the church that has since collapsed.

Any small amount will go a long way.

Thank you and God bless!
