Hi, my name is Cassandra, and I never imagined having to ask for help like this, but our family is in a serious crisis.
- Over the past two months, my husband has been extremely sick. What started as a respiratory infection turned into pneumonia, and although he is slowly improving, he is still not 100%. On top of that, he has been dealing with ongoing and very painful tooth infections that have made it even harder for him to fully recover or work consistently.
Because of his illness and work being slow, we are now months behind on all of our bills. Our electricity is at risk of being shut off at any time, and we are facing eviction. We are doing everything we can, but we simply cannot catch up.
As if that wasn’t enough, the truck he depends on for work has now stopped running. We cannot afford to tow it to a mechanic, let alone pay for repairs. Without transportation, even when he is able to work, he has no way to get to jobs.
We are overwhelmed and scared of losing our home and having our utilities disconnected. We are asking for help to cover past-due rent and utilities, medical and dental expenses, truck repairs, and basic living costs while he continues recovering.
