El 3 de marzo Rosalva Ziga Fuentes (o como muchos la conocemos Doña Rosa) sufrió un derrame cerebral. Esto fue el principio de una pesadilla la cual aún no tiene fin. Desde ese día Doña Rosa ha estado conectada a máquinas y cuando se cree que ya va mejorando, recae. El 22 de mayo Doña Rosa recayó una vez más, después de varios estudios su esposo Don Carmelo y su hijo Ismael recibieron la peor noticia de sus vidas - Doña Rosa tiene cancer en el cerebro muy agresivo que se le está expandiendo en todo su cuerpo…y que no hay nada que se pueda hacer más que esperar el fin.

Durante todo este tiempo Don Carmelo ha estado a lado de su esposa Doña Rosa y no ha podido trabajado. Su hijo Ismael ha estado viajando varias veces entre Indiana y Maryland para apoyar a sus papás.

Todo esto ha sido y sigue siendo una pesadilla para Don Carmelo y Ismael. Cuando algo así pasa nosotros, sus amistades y demás familia, no podemos hacer mucho pero si podemos apoyar económicamente. Apoyemos a Don Carmelo y a Ismael para los gastos que desafortunadamente vengan no sean una preocupación más en toda esta tragedia.

On March 3rd, Rosalva Ziga Fuentes (or Rosa as many of us know her) suffered a stroke. This was the beginning of a nightmare that still has no end. Since that day, Rosa has been connected to machines, and just when we thought she was getting better, she relapsed. On May 22nd, Rosa relapsed once again. After several tests, her husband, Carmelo, and her son, Ismael, received the worst news of their lives: Rosa has very aggressive brain cancer that is spreading throughout her body…and there is nothing to be done but wait for the end.

During all this time, Carmelo has been by his wife, Rosa, and has not worked. Their son, Ismael, has traveled several times between Indiana and Maryland to support his parents.

All of this has been and continues to be a nightmare for Carmelo and Ismael. When something like this happens, we, their friends and relatives, can't do much, but we can support them financially. Let's support Carmelo and Ismael so that the expenses that unfortunately come from this tragedy aren't another worry.
