Aid for Bristol's Medical Journey

I am starting this fundraiser for my niece, Bristol. Saturday, Jan 5, 2025, is the last time we watched her play, eat, talk, and walk.

She is 7yo and was just diagnosed with NMDA Encephalitis (a brain infection that attacked her nervous system and caused her brain to swell) and is on life support due to many seizures and to prevent permanent brain damage. To let her brain/body heal. She is at a children’s hospital an hour away from home and her parents (father) has already been out of work a week. My sister is a SAHM. They are looking at a month long stay away from home. Plus, back and forth rehabilitation for eating, talking, and walking after she’s discharged. This happened suddenly and we still don’t know what caused it. They are not asking for this, but the cost of traveling expenses, motel, and food…it adds up. I’m doing this to help them.
