Binx arrived at our home in 2019 as a young adolescent kitten. He had a major injury on his leg that hindered his ability to walk, but fortunately, with love and care, he got better.

Binx has been an important role in our household as a loving, supportive, and friendly family member who loves to greet others with care and affection. He loves cuddles and snuggles, loves the running faucet and the bathroom, and he's loud in his voice and self-expression.

Binx helped me and my family through a rough time in our life, helped me cope with my abusive father and the following divorce, and has taught me to trust and love.

Earlier this morning (February 1st, 2026), he struggled to get up, staying put even when called, and when the faucet was turned on, he didn't go.

When he was touched, he screamed in pain and struggled to get up, his stomach being the most sensitive spot.

My mom and I rushed him to the hospital for treatment and discovered he had a urinary blockage that could have been fatal if it weren't caught.

But since my mom is the only person able to work full-time (due to me going to school full-time), the cost of his treatment is over what we can afford. Both my mom and I picked a payment plan, but I worry about being able to contribute to my share of expenses only being able to work once every week.

The money I'm asking for here is to help pay for his treatment and the hospital bills and allow him to get the help he needs.
