Help Betty and Sonny Rebuild After Hurricane Helene
Dear Friends and Family,
The family of Betty and Sonny Trader are reaching out to you today with a heavy heart. Betty and Sonny, who have spent their entire lives in South Jersey, moved to sunny Bradenton, Florida, to live their dream retirement. Tragically, Hurricane Helene has devastated their trailer, and they have lost nearly everything they own. Thankfully they are safe and well.
Betty and Sonny are now without their furniture, kitchen cabinets, a bed, clothes, many life essentials and they even lost precious family photos and memoirs. They have always been there for others, and now they need our support to rebuild their lives from scratch, at 82 and 86 years young.
We, her nieces, children and grandchildren are raising funds to help them replace essential items and start anew. Any contribution, no matter how small, will make a significant difference in helping them get back on their feet. Between medical bills, being on a fixed income and now being homeless, they just have no where to turn but to the kindness you have in your hearts. They have to completely gut and rebuild the inside of their home.
The money raised will go toward rebuilding the home, and replacing any essential items that have been lost, like kitchen cabinets, tables, sofas, chairs, a bed, vehicle maintenance, and more.
Sadly, without a vehicle, they have to rely on family and friends to get to their important Dr. appointments. Especially Betty, who had a pacemaker put in just last month.
Thank you for your kindness and generosity.
With gratitude,
Maureen, Rita, Judy, Scott, Joanne, Laura and Scotty jr.
