Aid for Bethany: Bills Assistance

I'm Bethany.

Today, my partner of 8 years left behind the home and the life we built together, leaving me with nothing. We were in the process of catching up on bills due to emergencies (house, car, and medical) that occurred last year. We were nearing the end of a yearlong process of financial instability.

By the end of April, we would have caught up on most of our bills, but now that he's decided to leave, that responsibility has been left to me.

I've spent 8 years living in a two-income household and with a single text message received at 1:38AM this morning, my life has changed.

Now, I'm an one-income sole provider in a two-income household. It's just me and my dogs against a mountain of bills and repayment plans that would've been climbed and conquered by April.

I can't explain the pain of having supported, loved, and stood by a man through thick and thin for 8 years, only to be betrayed by his lies, to discover he secretly packed his things, and learn by a text message that he's left behind everything we had built together.

Heartache isn't the word I'd describe for this.

It's something deeper, rawer, and indescribable.

I'm lost and unsure what to do.

The amount I've requested would be to pay for my mortgage's final repayment installment, my car's final repayment installment, and utilities I've been left with until I can figure out a plan on how to move forward.
