Hi, my name is Hailee, and I’m fundraising for a baby girl and her family in Africa who are very dear to me.

During my mission, I taught and became close friends with this family online. In February 2024, they welcomed a baby girl and, out of gratitude for my service and our friendship, named her after me. It is an honor I will never take lightly.

Recently, I was told that she has been admitted to the hospital with severe swelling in her neck. Because of language barriers and limited communication right now, I do not yet have a confirmed medical diagnosis. What I do know is that her condition is serious and requires ongoing medical care.

Her family does not have the financial means to cover treatment costs and has been told they need approximately $2,000 USD. I am currently unable to communicate with them consistently due to phone and financial limitations, but I wanted to begin raising support as soon as possible so help can be available when treatment continues.
