Hi friends and neighbors!

Lily needs your help! Due to severe injuries that Lily sustained last week from a dog mauling, she's undergone numerous sutures and medical treatments and is still receiving care! Lily's parents are falling into financial ruin from the ever-growing costs of both Lily's and Audrey's physical and mental recovery from this horrific event.

On January 11, 2025, Audrey and Lily were attacked by loose dogs while on a walk in their neighborhood in Sacramento, California. Lily is currently in critical but stable condition with over 100 sutures from the puncture wounds. She is being cared for at VCA Mueller Pet Medical Center 7625 Freeport Blvd, Sacramento, CA. Audrey has received medical care for her injuries as well. Below are Audrey's posts after the incident, and an update regarding the situation:

[1/11/25] Please pray for Lily (in the photo) and me. We were attacked by 2 vicious dogs this morning and mauled. A Rottweiler and a pit bull. Lily is in the hospital. She’s severely injured. The hospital had to put her under just to really inspect and treat her wounds. This happened this morning when I was walking our kids around the block. I did everything I could to save her and that’s how I got injured. Neighbors were all trying to help, but the dogs wouldn’t let Lily go. It wasn’t until they got tased multiple times. I’m traumatized beyond words. Luckily our Sparkey took off and ran to home. He’s bruised up and traumatized but Sparkey was spared being mauled. I’m injured but I will be okay. Please pray and Buddhist friends chant for us. Lena is traumatized too. We’re all not doing well. ❤️ and NMHRK

[1/12/25] An update on Lily and myself. Lily will be in the hospital for a few more days. She has over 100 sutures, but she’s stable. I got bitten on my right index finger and my left hand fingers. I’m in a lot of pain physically and emotionally. I’m a wreck. So is Lena. Lena is getting sick. We couldn’t sleep. I just ruminated about the horror all night. But we have other pets we have to be there for. And to top it off our hospital vet costs are over $7,000!! Please keep us in your thoughts and prayers.

Audrey and Lena have maxed out their resources paying for Lily's care and they are now broke and facing an uphill battle with potential future surgeries if any infections develop.
