Aid for Rubin's Recovery

Hello, my name is Mark and my friend Ariana’s dog, and my dog's best friend Rubin escaped our apartment buildings yard to say hello to another pup and was hit by a car yesterday. He has fortunately survived the impact but has a broken ankle and several lacerations on his legs. After preliminary testing it seems that his organs are all ok, but he will be needing emergency surgery on the ankle. The emergency vet bill for the first day with the intake and diagnostic was $2831.00. He is expected to have stay at least one more day in the hospital and then have surgery to repair the ankle break. The emergency vet bill alone is expected to be between $4000 to $5000. Not sure exactly the price for the emergency surgery for the ankle but probably around $2,000. We are unsure of any additional costs but hopefully they will be manageable.
