Aid for Angie’s Recovery from Hurricane Helene

My best friend, Angie Williamson, moved into a new apartment in Redington Beach just 3 weeks ago. She hadn’t even finished unpacking and hanging pictures. Thankfully, she made the decision to evacuate and is safe.

Hurricane Helene brought the highest surge seen in that area in centuries. The water inside her apartment got so high that she’s lost virtually everything. Furniture, clothes, and personal items are all ruined. She does not even know where to start, and I just want to do something to help.

This GoFundMe is intended to aid her in covering the mountain of unexpected costs, including temporary housing, clothes, personal hygiene items, etc. while she waits for any aid that may come from FEMA or the state. The rental insurance policy did not include coverage for water damage related to hurricanes or storm surges.

I appreciate all assistance to help with her basic needs so she can focus on how to get back on her feet. I ask that you keep her, as well as everyone else that was affected by this disaster, in your thoughts and prayers.
