Aid for an awesome violinist friend

Since my freshman year in 1993 at Shenandoah, Heather Austin-Stone has been one of my best friends in the violin world and one of the best players I’ve ever known. Recently, her daughter Aurora was in a car accident, and only days later Heather herself was in a car accident that left her household minus two cars and leaving Heather in the hospital.

She is recovering well, and yet she depends on her car to get to her gigs with several symphonies, and Aurora herself is a fine musician with a bright future and a need for transportation as well. As it is the season of giving, I hope you find it in your heart to help someone who is a role model, a brilliant teacher, and someone I am honored to call one of my best friends on the planet. Every little bit helps and there is no amount too small. Let it make her holiday season a bit brighter!
