My name is Victoria Watkins I'm doing this GoFundMe on behalf of Amy Smith Wilson.

A couple months back her mother found out that she had lung cancer. She had been doing chemo and radiation and it had been shrinking. But more recently they found some lesions in her brain and they believe that the cancer spread into her blood which moved to the left side of her brain and caused a massive stroke. Because of this her mother is paralyzed on the right side of her body has no movement on the lower half of her body. Her speech is difficult. She's having trouble with urination and defecation. She was recently released from the hospital after having COVID . Only to have the massive stroke at home days after coming home from the hospital. Now today she is back in the hospital and they are trying to find a place for her so she can get the help that she needs.

With all this going on Amy is unable to work. She is being a dutiful daughter and is having to take an unpaid 30-day leave from her job. This means that she's going to struggle paying her rent her light bill or gas bill putting food in the house.

We are asking for assistance and helping alleviate some of the pressure that Amy feels currently with being away from her home and her children and not being able to work. This will help ensure that her bills can get paid, that she has money to travel to and from the hospitals, and that she can put food on her table.

Update: Mom is home now on hospice. Amy is continuing to be out of work until the good Lord calls Mom home! Continued prayers and donations are needed and welcomed !
