Hello everyone. My name is Millie and I am starting a GoFundMe for my best friend, Alex Tobar Talamantez. She has been struggling with blood clots due to an IVC filter that migrated and punctured an artery. She went through a very extensive surgery on August 21st to get the IVC filter removed. Surgery was a success, thank you Jesus!!! She will have to stay in ICU for a few days, then in a regular hospital room for about a week. She has been in and out of the hospital since July dealing with this problem. Now, after surgery, she is dealing with low blood pressure and is running a fever. We already did a fundraiser for her earlier this month which greatly helped, but she has not worked since July. Her daughter, Blayk, is starting college next week at UTSA. She does have insurance, but as we all know, insurance doesn't cover everything. With her not working, bills racking up, and college expenses, I am hoping to help her out with this GoFundMe.
