Another update
So update on Adam Perdue, he is getting better and the more he is awake, the more that I learn what all he may have lost...As you all may already know he has several issue going on. It all started with Congestive Heart Failure (CHF), which ultimately turned into Acute Respiratory Destress Syndrome (ARDS), which then left us with one option the ECMO. All in all it definitely saved his life, but also changed his life! He had a an Ispemhic infract Stroke on the left side of the brain, and is now suffering from paralysis of his right side, he has a trach in his throat which has left him unable to talk. It has also affected his reading and I believe his writing. He does still understand what I'm saying but it's very hard for him to communicate and even harder for him to understand everything that has happened and what is still to come. I also believe he may be suffering from some short term memory loss. (Possibly) The doctors are unable to do a proper stroke assessment because he is still on the vent and unable to speak so this is just what I have learned myself in our way of communicating. I've had to repeat the same story in small intervals as he can't handle to much all at once. But he is still my miracle and I will not, will not give up on him! He may never recover is not an option for me. I know that he can do this! Adam is my best friend! And will always have my ❤️. I will always be in his corner no matter what! So that being said our insurance will not pay for his long term care in this state, but would rather transport him out of state to the only other place willing to consider taking him. Like I said considering! No definite answer yet!. That being said we have alot on our plate plus we have to possibly go out of state for however long he made need this care. So I ask everyone to pray for strength to get not only him through this but our entire family!

Another Update on Adam Perdue 1/20/2025
Praise Report
And update on our boy Adam Perdue

Adam had a stroke sometime early Friday morning. With the ECMO machine that was one of the possible side affects. God bless us with a miracle because if it wasn’t for the ECMO machine he would not still be with us.

We don’t always understand God’s way and the roads and valleys we must travel. But we do have a God that loves us unconditionally. God is definitely on this journey with us.

They decided to move Adam to General to the 4th floor NSICU. He is off the ECMO machine but he’s still has his trac. His lungs & heart are doing good.

Now with the stroke. The stroke was behind his left eye and the doctor said he has pretty bit of damage. This has affected his right side of his body. Right now he can’t move his right arm or leg. Doctors told us yesterday that is more likely will never walk again and his speech will be affected.

I told the doctor that was unacceptable to me. I know a GOD who answers prayers and delivers miracles and that my friends is what this momma is praying for. Please join me.

Adam is still with us for a reason. God’s not done yet. I believe my son our Adam will be a walking, talking testimony for God one day.

ANOTHER UPDATE ON ADAM PERDUE as of today they was able to take ADAM back to or n put the trac in the doc said surgery went great. Doctor was glad they did it because they was able to clean his airways out. Doc said they will slowly start waking ADAM up the next days. Not sure how long he will be in open heart recovery it’s depends on how long its takes his body to function on its own Most of we want to thank god for answering our prayers.❤️Please keep the prayers coming Thanks Ashley N Mary n Family.

UPDATE ON ADAM PERDUE……
He's now hooked up to a machine called the ECMO, it runs the heart and lungs by pumping oxygenated blood through his body. Yes it is a form of life support but he can make a full recovery once the heart and lungs have regained full strength. His oxygen level has improved alot from a 74-96 which is excellent his blood pressure is in a good place and that is his body not the machine they haven't been giving him any blood pressure meds to keep it down that’s all Adam. They will be putting in a Tracheotomy in his throat also. That will be how his breaths and talks eventually. Which can be removed. This is an amazing machine and without it he would not survive so I thank God for it. I know he does too. Also we aren’t sure how long will take Adam to recover so anything will help. Please continue to pray for Adam n his family n ours as well.

Hi, my name is Lisa Hill. I'm the mother of Ashley Pyles, and Mary Slate is the mother of Adam Perdue. We are doing this GoFundMe to help Adam Perdue and Ashley Pyles and their 2 daughters.

On January 7, 2025, Ashley had to take Adam to the emergency room, and Adam was admitted to ICU and then to CPICU, He could not breathe do to Congestive heart failure do to fluids throughout his body they have found one side of his heart was enlarged. He is currently at memorial hospital where he still remains on the ventilator, heavily sedated to keep him calm and rested while he receives treatments. The family was told he is retaining fluids, which they are still draining from him due to his heart . The doctors said they aren't sure how long it will take Adam to recover because it is completely up to his body and how he reacts to the medications . It could be days or it could be weeks. They also have him on antibiotics for pneumonia.

Adam is the sole/main provider for his household, He has drove a Coal Truck most of his life and with him being sick for an unknown amount of time, the family is asking for any amount of help or financial support that could be given at this time. Anything will help and would be appreciated as he recovers and heals. Once he's home, it will ease the stress of going back to work too soon before he recovers. I know this is a hard time for us all; anything helps. If unable to donate, please share and send up prayers for this wonderful family.

Thank you,
Lisa Hill
