Hello all, my name is Abbey, a new mom to a 7-week-old baby boy. I am reaching out for help as life has humbled my family lately.

On March 4th, I gave birth to a handsome little boy via C-section. While waiting to hear back from my husband’s employer about family bonding leave, he was unexpectedly let go from his job. My husband, Matthew, has since been applying to just about any job available to get us back on our feet.

Unfortunately, even if the job hunt was successful, he would have been unable to go back to work as I was unable to provide at home due to my C-section. Matthew has had to take care of both me and baby.

On Easter, April 5th, I woke up to excruciating pain in my right side that had sent me into the Emergency Department. After some tests, I had to have emergency gallbladder removal surgery along with an ERCP (Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography). Happy Easter… am I right? This had again set us back further. I am currently on restrictions for daily activities and Matthew is again having to take care of both me and our sweet little boy.

This is very hard for both of us to reach out to our community for help. Donations will be used to catch up on bills, pay our upcoming rent, and upcoming bills. We appreciate every little bit.
