ABACO - SHANAGA'S FUNDRAISER - 100% DIRECT AID

I grew up in the Bahamas and have many friends and family in Abaco.  The damage that this storm has caused and the lives of the people that it is affecting is very personal to me.  I cannot stand by while my people suffer.  I will work with government and non government aid organizations on the ground to ensure that 100% of funds donated goes directly to support the needs of those most impacted by Hurricane Dorian.  I have a strong medical and charity background and my husband is a retired Naval Captain and an expert in disaster relief.  We are looking for cash donations but we are also looking for clothing, non-perishable food items, and medicine from the greater New York City area which we will will package and ship to Bahamas as soon as possible to get it to those who need it most.  The need is great.  Thoughts and prayers are appreciated but community action is what we truly need.  Please help us save lives and restore hope.  We will respond to all donors and provide regular updates.
