Help Honor Kristin Smith – Funeral Expenses

It is with deep sadness that we share the passing of our dear friend and fellow PNW4WDA board member, Kristin Smith, on September 19, 2025.

Kristin was a bright light in the Pacific Northwest 4 Wheel Drive Association, dedicating countless hours and boundless energy to the organization she loved. Alongside her husband Rick, she was an active member of Flat Broke & 4 Wheelin’, Sand Flea 4x4’s, and Hubs In 4-Wheelers. She selflessly served in many roles over the years—Region 3 Director, Secretary, Membership Chairman, Club Power/We-Did-It Chairman, and Special Thoughts Chairman.

Kristin’s impact on our community was profound. Whether it was through organizing events, sending thoughtful cards to fellow members, or simply showing up with a smile and kind word, she gave her all. Her commitment and passion were recognized with the Kathy Sterner Award—not once, but three times.

She often reminded us to hold our loved ones a little closer, a sentiment that feels especially poignant now. Her absence leaves a deep hole in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
