Aid for a Family following a Fire

Donation protected

My parents (Lisa and Martin Schwartz) apartment complex caught on fire at about 1am this morning (Saturday April 8th). They are estimating a complete loss. Luckily all 19 families made it out safely, however everyone was only able to leave with the clothes they had on their backs. And emotionally all of the families are devastated. There are many things lost that can never be replaced. The apartment complex put my parents in an apartment for the time being, and the Red Cross handed out information and a small Visa card for each family. However, my family has no access to their clothes, shoes, food, cleaning supplies, kitchen items, etc. Please keep my family as well as the other 18 families in your thoughts and prayers as they assess the building and families try to pick up the pieces and start over. If you live in the area please consider donating clothes, food, etc to the families affected. If you do not live in the area or do not have anything to donate, please consider a monetary donation. This money will go directly to my mom, dad and brother who will need to have clothes, food, and shelter as the apartment complex and fire department assess the damages and determine if it is safe to reeneter the building. My goal is to raise $3000 to assist my parents while they are waiting for insurance claims, and finding a new residence. Thank you.
