I am 76 years old and retired, but my health has made life much more challenging lately. I have severe heart failure, and while my doctor’s medications have helped strengthen my heart muscles, I am still unable to work part-time as I used to. The cost of my medications has increased, with a recent addition making things even more difficult. I need extra support to cover my living expenses until I can return to work. Despite trying everything I could, I haven’t been able to make ends meet. The side effects from my medications, including diarrhea and weight loss, have made things even harder. Still, I continue to coach high school track twice a week, something I’ve done for the past ten years and truly love.
The funds raised will go directly toward my living expenses, including food and mortgage payments, and will help me stay afloat for at least a year. This support will give me time to either qualify to sell my home or hopefully see my health improve with the new medications. I am also facing an unexpected expense from my condominium association, which is requiring owners to pay an extra fee for repairs or risk having a lien placed on my property.
If you can help me financially in any way, I will greatly appreciate your support. I have always paid my bills on time and am doing everything I can to get through this difficult period. Your kindness and generosity would mean the world to me as I work toward better health and stability.
