Aid Fire-Affected Animals: Donate to Pasadena Humane Society
Tax deductible
Dear Friends and Family,
As we are sure you know, there have been huge fires in Southern California. One of the fires is burning in Pasadena, exactly where our dad grew up in Eaton Canyon. It’s hard to look at what has happened to our dad’s hometown.
Many residents in Pasadena had to leave behind their pets as they evacuated from the fires, resulting in many injured dogs and cats. Pasadena and dogs are connected for us because our dad grew up with five Great Danes. We want to help these fire-affected animals in any possible way.
We had the idea to start a fundraiser for the Pasadena Humane Society. The shelter has taken in over 400 animals from the Eaton Fire. The organization needs money to help care for the burned and injured animals they are welcoming to the shelter. The pets have symptoms such as smoke inhalation, dehydration, and burned paws. The Pasadena Humane Society has been doing their best to help them but they need more supplies to continue saving these animals.
The best way to help is by donating money. Your donations will help the organization in continuing to rescue animals in need of emergency care. If you’re able to donate any amount, we'd be so thankful. Thank you for considering it.
As the Pasadena Humane Society writes on their website, “This is a human and animal tragedy on an unimaginable scale and we are only beginning to learn of the full impact.” We hope the fires end soon and the rebuilding process can begin. We love you guys.
