Aid Farlie's Recovery from Total House Loss
Donation protected
We are friends and family of Farlie Hall. Farlie's house burned down Sunday, May 18th. It was a total loss as they had to demolish the structure to put the fire out. The original part of the house was built in the 1880s, and the second two-story part was built in the 1950s. The Rancho Del Flores was the Hall family home since the late '70s. Cathy Hall Carra (Granny) called it home until her passing in 2020. At that time, her grandson Farlie Hall moved from TX back to his childhood home. The house contained 82 years of Granny's life and numerous collections that were priceless to her family. Along with all of the family heirlooms that were lost, Farlie lost everything as well. The house was a historic structure, but due to its age, it was uninsured.
As we are looking at what we need to even start to rebuild his life, we are just trying to sift through the remains and then remove the rest of the structure. The funds we are raising will go to resources to help with the cleanup, removal, and to support the family with basic needs. Thank you from the Hall Family.
