My father recently underwent hernia repair surgery where complications after his drain removal occurred, I brought my dad to Lowell general where my nightmare began. My dad was admitted with 4.2 hemoglobin which is a massive blood loss in the body somewhere. while undergoing extensive care my father was intubated and moved from CCU to the ICU where he was in very critical care my dad had underwent such invasive treatments in order to locate and stop this massive bleed with everything said and done it was told dad was stable then overnight found to be he must be bleeding elsewhere dad spent 6 days in the ICU undergoing treatments and extensive care he was then pronounced deceased on July 16th. This surgery was suppose to give my dad a new beginning for he was such a genuine man who deserved it , he had plans to visit his family Brasil that he hasn’t seen since coming to America in 87, he had plans to be a new man with out carrying the defect from his first emergent hernia repair in 2006. He was so grateful to be able to be to do things with the family but unfortunately God has called him home. My dad was never one to boast or ask for praises, he never asked for help, my dad was a humble , caring , humorous man who deserved to live the rest of his life out.
