Never thought we'd ever find ourselves in a situation like this.. One minute you're getting ready for bed, like every other night. The next you're sitting on a curb across the street from your home, holding the few belongings you managed to grab on the way out the door, and watching everything else you've sweated and bled for turn to ashes. It took an hour of watching the flames consume everything you own before realizing you fled so fast you forgot to grab your shoes. In all the chaos and confusion the one thing that brought us comfort was knowing everyone made it out safely. Tools, cars, clothing.. these things can be replaced. Family pictures and heirlooms are what you really feel the loss of. Today is the morning after the fire and we are still picking through the ash and debris. Please lend us and our family your thoughts and prayers, any resources that could help in these troubling times. Also, keep an eye out for our missing cat, Thomas, he has red hair, a spunky attitude, and a large round belly. We are so very thankful for the love and support the community has shown us. This is only a setback our spirits are high and together we will pull through to the brighter days ahead.
