It is with a heavy heart that I share the tragic loss of my dear friend, Frida Heyken, who passed away in a car accident on December 22, 2024.
Frida had been in Klamath Falls, Oregon, as part of a foreign exchange program from Germany. She was a bright, loving young woman who touched the lives of everyone she met and left a lasting impact on those around her.
The Heyken family is now faced with the heartbreaking task of bringing Frida home to Germany. Navigating unfamiliar procedures in the U.S. and uncertain about the expenses involved, I am asking for assistance to help with any expenses that arise.
Any contribution, big or small, will help ease the financial burden on the Heyken family during this unimaginably difficult time. Your generosity will not only honor Frida’s memory but also provide her family with much-needed peace as they lay her to rest.
