On August 2nd, 2024, I took a terrible fall and broke my ankle in four places. I had my first emergency surgery on August 2nd, 2024, and I stayed in Lenoir Memorial Hospital for almost a week. I was then released home with my parents, which was challenging being non-weight bearing on my right leg. So, I was having to use a wheelchair or walker. A couple of days passed and I started feeling terrible again. On Sunday, August 11th, 2024, my mom brought me to ECU Vidant Health in Greenville, NC, where I was then admitted with a possible infection after continuous fevers.
I had my second ankle surgery on August 14th, 2024, to remove the fixator and reconstruct my ankle with plates, rods, and screws. I remain now in Greenville Hospital, trying to get better every day and get home to my children.
Update 8/25/24 : I am now home recovering still in allot of pain and I will remain in a wheel chair for atleast 3 months depending on the healing process .thank y’all so much for everyone who has helped donated and prayed for me during this difficult time it means so much to me and my family .
With all this going on, being a single mom it has put financial hardship on me and my children. Monthly bills are stacking up and I’m not able to run my dog grooming business while I’m down. If you can find it in your heart to donate, me and my family will greatly appreciate it. If you can’t donate continue to prayer for a speedy recovery. ♥️
