Two of our dearest friends, a husband and wife, are both battling cancer. My husbands best buddy is in hospital fighting gastric cancer. His dear wife just got out of hospital after having a cancerous brain tumor removed. Their only daughter is an oncology nurse, and has taken an unpaid leave of absence to care for her parents.
